Drop everything that you are doing and listen to the new Ocean Wisdom's album.

Ocean Wisdom "Wizville" - listen now on Spotify

If you still don't know who the Ocean Wisdom is, you are sleeping on one of the most skilled rappers in the game right now.

25 years old artist from Camden just dropped his second album and as I expected it is another collection of bangers, just like the first one from 2016 "Chaos 93".

"Wizville" released by British label High Focus Records equals 21 fresh tracks including one bonus song. Hard to say which I liked the most. You will find here not only Hip Hop but a mixture of many genres like Grime (Revvin'), Jungle (Don, I Ain't Eaten) and EDM (Tiptronic). There is also a place for more classic, jazzy tunes like in a Tom & Jerry track. Ocean is proving again that he is a multidimensional artist.

It is filled with features of great guests considered as music legends like local superstars Dizzee Rascal, P Money or Roots Manuva and one and only Method Man. As always features of this type are for elevating less known artists, but in this case, it is just a proof that Ocean deserves for a place beside the greatest, even if he is still quite fresh in the business.

All of these appearances looks amazing, but to be honest, Wizzy is over-rhyming and over-styling them in every moment.

As Dizzee Rascal in song Revvin' is quite close to the host's abilities on the other side in song Ting Dun with Method Man you can hear a significant difference.

And I am giving this stand as a huge fan of Meth. He is in my Top 5 rappers since I started to listen to Rap. And of course, he is not on Wizzy's album to sound exactly like him but to give some of his (incredible by the way) style. Mr. Mef started in 90. what reflecting in his way of rapping. His flow is more smooth and chilled plus I do not remember him using accelerations. Now when he trying to catch a little of the Ocean's flow at the beginning of the verse it looks like he would be never able to spit so fast. Sorry Tical. You are still one of my favorites.

It is just March, but I am not afraid to say that "Wizville" will be on my Top 10 list of albums from this year.

There is a lot of rappers today, but not everyone got this kind of energy and unique stylistic. Plus he is a brilliant lyricist who can speed up with his bars to the unreachable for the most level.

Ocean Wisdom's raw talent should be seen by more immediately, but unfortunately, he is not recognized yet among Hip Hop fans. I am feeling that is his time to get to the wider audience. Especially when the first amazing project didn't succeed as it should. Now it is Ocean's next chance to grab what he deserves. At this time "Wizville" get to the first 40 in Official Album Charts Top 100 in the UK and I hope it is just the beginning of successes.
